I honestly cannot recommend Magic Russ enough! We booked him for my son’s birthday party recently, and he was hands-down the best part of the whole day.

From the second he walked in, his energy was amazing. It’s usually impossible to keep a room full of kids sitting still, but Russ had them completely captivated from start to finish. They were all laughing their heads off and totally glued to the show - as a parent it was the most beautiful thing to witness!

What I loved most, though, was how brilliant he was with my son, who is incredibly shy and usually shies away from the spotlight. I was a bit worried he’d get overwhelmed, but Russ read the room perfectly. He was so gentle and inclusive, catering the show beautifully to the kids' energy so my son felt comfortable and part of the fun. Seeing my usually quiet boy laughing so hard and getting so involved was just wonderful to watch.

Russ didn't just rush through a standard routine; he really cared about making the day special for everyone and kept the fun going right until the very end.

If you’re looking for a children's entertainer who is genuinely enthusiastic, talented, and amazing with kids, book Magic Russ. He made my son's birthday so memorable - thank you so much, Russ!

Magic Russ helped with my nephew’s 5th birthday celebrations, and I would highly recommend. From the start he emanated calm professionalism - while we all ran around setting up the hall and blowing up balloons! This calm continued when the children (about 20 children and about 30-40 associated adults) started to arrive - children was welcomed with fun balloon animals / swords / aliens, but when the party started - the crowd were all seated and the room was transfixed. Adults and children - no one moved! It was magical (the tricks were great), charming - (getting lots of volunteers to help) and the humour worked for both children and the adult - allowing both groups to relax and enjoy the show, with lots of laughs. Everyone left smiling with lots of happy memories having been made.

Hands down, Magic Russ has to be the best kid’s party entertainment. Not only did the children absolutely love his act but the adults couldn’t help but enjoy his comedic, quick witted and truly brilliant magic! We couldn’t have been happier with Magic Russ’ performance at our son’s 5th birthday party. From initial contact, right through to packing away, Magic Russ is a true gem and I would book him again without hesitation.

We booked Magic Russ (and Chico the Monkey and Dave the Wonderdog, credit where it’s due!) after seeing them make another child’s party an absolute breeze a few years ago. It took a bit of googling “west midlands magician with puppet dog” but we found him!So what are you getting when you book Magic Russ?* Great communication * Taking party bags off your list, they all leave with a punch balloon. Give them a wedge of cake, done, that’s £90 on plastic tat saved straight away. * A party co-ordinator, from the moment he arrives Russ makes the plan for timings, and takes the responsibility off you. * An absolutely seamless party. He takes the kids off your hands fully, engages them from the moment they are through the door, gets the adults sat in the right place, then it’s show time, food time, cake time, games time, parting gift time, done. He handles it all and before you know it you’re stowing presents in the car and sweeping up crisps. * Cross generation appeal. The adults laughed as much as the kids. * Legend status for your child, all the kids are still talking about it now, weeks later. * Dave the Wonderdog on the end of the bed - your child gets a new puppet to keep.So as a result I expected his fees to be eye watering?Nope. Incredibly reasonable. Price is available up front in the brochure document Russ sends you when you enquire, no hidden fees or pressured extras, which is so welcome for the times we live in.Hate parties? Take the pressure off yourself, book Magic Russ.

Magic Russ is sensational. He ensured our son's 5th birthday party was an absolute blast. Not only did the children love him, but the adults also found him hilarious. Outstanding birthday party entertainment...and he's already been requested for the 6th birthday party!
